Product Warranty

Modern are confident in the quality and lasting durability of all of our products and services. We design, engineer and manufacture almost all of products we install, and that’s why we offer warranties from 12 months for workmanship, and to up to 10 years for certain products as well as full servicing upon request.

Our warranties are secured against a company that has been around for 40 years and will be around for many more. When you buy Modern products you have peace of mind knowing that Modern will still be here to honour your claim – unlike many of our competitors.

Different parts of a Plantation Shutter are insured for different periods:

• 5 Years Warranty on Plantation Shutter and Frame
• 3 Years Warranty on Coating and Moving Parts
• 12 Months Warranty on all other components and accessories.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
